About SizeConvertly

A free, browser-based collection of clothing, footwear and body measurement converters built for shoppers buying across borders.

What this website does

SizeConvertly hosts 75 size conversion and measurement tools covering women's and men's apparel, kids and baby clothing, footwear, accessories, denim, activewear and international sizing standards. Each tool runs entirely in your browser: no account, no upload, no tracking of the numbers you type.

Why it was created

Cross-border online shopping made sizing labels harder to read, not easier. A single wardrobe can contain a US 8 dress, a EU 39 shoe and a UK belt, all describing the same person. Most conversion information online is scattered across retailer pages and forum posts. This site collects the reference tables into consistent, working tools.

How size conversion works

Conversion relies on published reference tables that map one labelling system onto another, usually anchored to a body measurement such as bust, chest, waist or foot length. Where two systems use different increments — as US and EU shoe scales do — conversions round to the nearest available size, which is why some results differ by half a size between sources.

Why manufacturer charts still matter

No converter can know how a particular brand drafts its patterns. Grading rules, fit models, ease allowances and fabric behaviour all change the finished garment. Treat every result here as a starting point and confirm it against the product's own measurement chart, which is the most accurate information available for that specific item.

What we do not claim

We do not claim guaranteed fit, and we do not publish accuracy percentages. Sizing is not standardised globally, so any tool claiming certainty is overstating what the data supports.
