Your converted size

Sizing can vary by manufacturer, garment cut and fabric. Always check the specific brand's size chart before purchasing.

How to use this tool

  1. Measure the relevant body area with a soft tape, keeping it level and snug but not tight.
  2. Enter the number and choose centimetres or inches.
  3. Press Convert to see the matching sizes across systems.
  4. If you land near the edge of a range, size up for rigid fabrics and down for stretch fabrics.

How to measure correctly

Use a flexible tape measure over bare skin or a thin layer. Stand upright with a normal exhale, keep the tape level all the way around, and check the back in a mirror so the tape has not ridden up.

  • Use a soft tailoring tape rather than a rigid ruler.
  • Keep the tape parallel to the floor the whole way round.
  • Breathe out normally instead of holding your breath.
  • Take each measurement twice and use the average.

Understanding these sizes

Sizing labels come from three different families: alpha labels such as S, M and L, numeric labels such as US 8 or EU 38, and measurement labels such as a 32 inch waist. Converting between them means moving between systems that were standardised separately, which is why offsets are conventions rather than exact rules.

Convert centimetres, inches, height and weight, and map measurements to sizes. Once you know your own measurements in centimetres, any chart in any region becomes readable, and a converter simply saves you the arithmetic.

Frequently Asked Questions

How accurate is the wrist size calculator?

The conversions follow widely used industry reference tables. They are a reliable starting point, but individual brands grade their patterns differently, so treat every result as a guide rather than a guarantee.

Do I need to create an account?

No. The tool runs entirely in your browser, nothing is uploaded, and no sign-up is required.

What if I fall between two sizes?

Choose the larger size for rigid fabrics and structured garments, and the smaller size for stretch fabrics. Where possible, check the product's measurement chart to see which side of the range the garment sits on.
